Washburn Guitars is proud to support
The Grammy Foundation in Southern Comfort’s
“Ride to Voodoo”

Mundelein, IL – October 1, 2004 – Washburn Guitars will be participating in the “Ride to Voodoo” sponsored by Southern Comfort, benefiting The Grammy Foundation. The “Ride to Voodoo” is a charitable tour starting October 13th in Chicago, at the House of Blues. The tour makes stops in St. Louis at The Hard Rock Café, and in Memphis at the Beale Streets famed Silky O’Sullivans. Finally riders end in New Orleans, at the House of Blues on October 15th. There will be food and entertainment at each stop along the way. The New Orleans stop will feature Juliette Lewis and her band, The Licks. The ride concludes with The Voodoo Feast, starting on October 16th in the New Orleans city park. Featuring over 60 performers from all musical genres, The Voodoo Fest will be packed with fun and entertainment for all. At the completion of the fest, a raffle will be held for a 2004, custom-painted Southern Comfort Chopper built by Big Dog Motorcycles. Raffle tickets can be exchanged for a $10 donation.

Washburn Guitars, being involved in “The Ride to Voodoo”, supports the Grammy Foundation. Grammy Foundation initiates consciousness and appreciation of recorded music. Their ultimate goal is to bring about a National awareness on the value and importance of music and music education. The Grammy Foundation will benefit through the raffle proceedings
