Cornelio Tutu, Cornelio Tutu Band
Cornelio Tutu
'It looks like there is a new guitar kid on the block and his name is Cornelio Tutu. Keep Playing is a great initial release. With balance, sincerity and conviction, let's hope that future releases allow him to stretch out even further. His developing style as well as an ability to surround himself with talented musicians bodes well for this up and coming guitarist.' - Randy McElligott, www.jazzreview.com / USA, 2005.

'Fans of Lee Ritenour and Pat Metheny might find a new friend in Hungarian Cornelio Tutu whose new album Keep Playing shows the guitarist in fine form.' - www.douglaz.com / Sweden, 2005

Born as Kornel Juhasz on 27/06/1971. He had his first guitar lessons at the age of 15, from an excellent Hungarian blues guitar player. At first he was interested in rock-blues, but soon he became attracted to the Latin and Spanish musical world. At the age of 21 he joined a Hungarian pop group, and as a concert guitar player accompanied famous Hungarian pop singers. At that time he also regularly performed in a Latin-Spanish guitar trio. Step by step he got closer to the jazz, and started to learn musical theory and solfeggio from private teachers. By 1998 he was already playing with Hungarian jazz bands, in Budapest. In 2003 he founded his own group, the Cornelio Tutu Band. With this band, at the end of 2004, he released his first album titled 'Keep Playing'.
