Anima Inside
Anima Inside is consolidated at the end of the year 2005 thanks to Alex Nuñez (Guitar 2005-2007) and Riccardo de la Cuesta (Voice 2005-present), when they decide to make several auditions and integrate the new members of the band, including Juan Jose Erazo (Bass 2005-present). The Band recorded in 2006 “In Between” a demo with several songs, which serve as pre-production of their debut album “Reflection”, from which the songs that stand out are: “Father Time” (afterwards Empty Shell), “Far Behind”, “Take me Home” and “In Between”.
In 2007, Anima Inside begins the process of producing its first album which would be released in November 2009 “Reflection”. The Band gets in contact with Fusao VMT Studios of Sao Paulo-Brazil and with the producer Thiago Bianchi, who had worked with important bands as: Angra, Shaman or Karma. Anima Inside travels to Brazil for the recording of the album.
The year 2008 becomes important for Anima Inside; it is chosen to open the Deep Purple concert in Ecuador, and the Band travels to its first international concert at the Festival “BajaProg” in Mexicali-Mexico. A special version of “Reflection” is edited for this festival, which will run out; multiple record labels get in contact and finally EMI Music will launch it in 2009.
Under the record label of EMI Music, the Band releases “Reflection” (November 2009) which becomes a local hit reaching Gold Record sales in Ecuador in 2010 and several of its main singles get to the top of the charts in radios, being the first rock band to achieve this in Ecuador. The singles: Far Behind, Hypnotize me and These Words are accompanied by videos of excellent quality, winning several awards. “Hypnotize Me” is chosen for the commercial “Ford 150” in Latin America and for the video game “RockBand”. Other songs of the Band also appear in compilations and movies soundtrack such as “Cuento Sin Hadas”.
In 2011, Anima Inside makes several tours, one of which is made in an acoustic version accompanied by strings and choirs; this tour is recorded on DVD. Anima Inside shares the stage with artists such as Ozzy Osbourne and Mr. Big, giving it strength in the media and calling the attention of musical instruments and equipment endorsements that see a potential of the Band for the marketing of its products in the region. In the same year, the Band gets back again to the studio for recording the album “Duality”. “Dream Enough” the first single from the album “Duality” is launched into the Market as soundtrack of the 2012 advertisement campaign of the Graiman company, and quickly becomes a hit and is positioned at the top places of the radios, ahead of the album as a strategy. Anima Inside leaves EMI Music and signs with the record label MTM (Warner Music in Ecuador) with which plans to launch “Duality” in 2013.
2012 is a year of transition that marks the maturity of the Band and during which time, interesting projects are carried out such as its 360 unplugged concert and innovative partnerships in order to expect a 2013 full of surprises!

Anima Inside se consolida a finales del 2005 gracias a Alex Nuñez (Guitarra 2005-2007) y Riccardo de la Cuesta (Voz 2005-presente), deciden realizar varias a audiciones y se integran los nuevos miembros de la banda, entre ellos Juan José Erazo (Bajo 2005-presente). La banda graba en 2006 “In Between” un demo con varias canciones, las cuales sirven de pre producción de su álbum debut “Reflection”; de las cuales se destacan: Father Time (posteriormente Empty Shell), Far Behind, Take me Home e In Between.
En 2007 Anima Inside inicia el proceso de producción de su primer disco que vería la luz en noviembre del 2009 “Reflection”. La banda se contacta con Fusao VMT studios de Sao Paulo-Brasil y con el productor Thiago Bianchi, quien había trabajado con bandas importantes del medio como: Angra, Shaman o Karma. Anima Inside viaja a Brasil a la grabación del disco.
2008 se convierte en un año importante para Anima Inside, es escogida para abrir el concierto de Deep Purple en Ecuador, y la banda viaja a su primer concierto internacional en el festival “BajaProg” en Mexicali-México. Una versión especial de “Reflection” se edita para este festival, los cuales se agotan, varias disqueras entran en contacto y finalmente EMI Music lo lanzará en 2009.
Ya la banda bajo el sello EMI Music lanza “Reflection” (Nov 2009) que se convierte en un éxito local llegando a ser Disco de Oro en ventas en Ecuador en 2010 y varios de sus principales singles a los primeros puestos de los charts en radios, siendo la primera banda de rock en Ecuador en conseguirlo. Los singles: Far Behind, Hypnotize me y These Words van acompañados de videos de excelente calidad, ganando varios reconocimientos. Hypnotize Me es escogida para el comercial de Ford 150 en Latinoamérica y para el videojuego RockBand. Otras canciones de la banda también salen en recopilaciones y soundtrack de películas como “Cuento sin Hadas”.
En 2011 Anima Inside realiza varias giras, una de las cuales las hace en una versión acústica acompañados de cuerdas y coros, esta gira es grabada en DVD. Anima Inside comparte escenario con artistas como Ozzy Osbourne y Mr. Big, dándole fuerza en el medio y llamando la atención de endorsements de instrumentos y equipos musicales que ven en la banda un potencial para el marketing de sus productos en la región. En el mismo año entran a estudio nuevamente para la grabación de su álbum “Duality”. “Dream Enough” el primer single del álbum “Duality” sale al Mercado como soundtrack de la campaña publicitaria 2012 de la compañía Graiman, rápidamente se convierte en un hit y se posiciona en los primeros lugares de las radios, adelantándose al álbum como estrategia.Anima Inside abandona EMI Music y firma con la disquera MTM (Warner Music en Ecuador) con la cual se planea lanzar “Duality” en 2013.
2012 es un año de transición en el cual marca una madurez de la banda en la que se realizan proyectos interesantes como su concierto 360 unplugged, alianzas novedosas para esperar un 2013 lleno de sorpresas!
