Mike Mulholland Bio

Mike Mulholland was born in Quebec City, QC but moved at a young age to West Texas where he picked up the guitar at age 10 with influence from his father, who was a blues guitarist. In middle school, he had his first listen to Pantera, Crowbar and Slayer and fell in love with metal. Later on in high school getting into hardcore bands such as Hatebreed and Madball, he acquired a taste for heavy music and started Recon during his senior year.

Mike currently resides in Albany, New York and plays lead guitar and writes the majority of the music for Mosh/Metal outfit Recon. Their Rise Records debut, "Welcome To Viper City" hit stores in July, and subsequently, they have steadily been on tour, making stops all over the U.S., Canada and Europe.
