Saturday, June 13th was the I AM Fest at the Congress Theatre in Chicago.
This festival featured 25 select local bands and 25 filmmakers, photographers and artists showcasing Chicago’s best arts and music community. As one of the sponsors, Washburn made a custom I AM Fest guitar that was raffled off later that night. All the proceeds from the raffle went to Merit School of Music, a local charity that provides underprivileged children with high quality musical instruments and education.

Washburn’s presence at the I AM Fest was genuinely appreciated and created excitement among the concertgoers. There was a variety of Washburn electric guitars displayed at the Washburn promotional booth for anyone to play including an X50 PRO, WI66PRO, WM524V and a HB32.

Simplistic Urge, a Washburn endorsee did a great job with their performance, as one of the headlining bands. Overall, the I AM Fest was a success and being one of the top sponsors,Washburn Guitars received a lot of exposure.
