Washburn Makes a Big Showing at World's Largest Metal Festival

As sponsors of W:O:A Metal Battle contest, Washburn was all over stages at The Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. The world finals took place at Wacken August 4-6, 2011.

W:O:A Wacken Open Air was the largest Heavy Metal event in the world in 2011. U.S. Music Corp., parent company of Washburn Guitars, is a sponsor and strategic partner of Metal Battle. W:O:A Metal Battle is a contest founded in 2004 with the goal to boost future Heavy Metal generations. In 2011 Metal Battle took place in 27 countries with the world final August 4-6 at Wacken Open Air.
