Washburn LSJ749 Acoustic Guitar

OVERVIEW

Washburn originally introduced the Lakeside Jumbo model in 1912 and it is considered the first dreadnought sized guitar. It bridged the gap between smaller bodied parlor guitars of the late 19th and early 20th century and modern day dreadnought and jumbo acoustic guitars. 100 years later we have captured the essence of that model with modern materials to provide a truly inspired, unique and special instrument with its own voice.

The USA version of this guitar is hand built and signed in our USA Custom Shop by Terry Atkins. It features a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. The scalloped bracing is hand shaped and the entire guitar is voiced by Terry.

Baritone versions are available as well as models LSB769 (USA) and LSB768S.
