MANDOLINS
F Style
The M120SW Mandolin is currently being played by Bluegrass Legend, Richie Owens. Richie collaborated with Washburn in developing the new M120SW Mandolin. It features a traditional but slightly deeper F-style body with a solid spruce top and it has a wider nut with wider string spacing to accommodate larger fingers. The body is carved, solid flamed maple that has a beautiful sunburst finish. The 24 fret neck, bridge, and saddle are all made out of ebony, producing a superior tone, well suited to a player as demanding as Owens. Lastly, the Washburn M120SW features gold plated hardware, and Mother of Pearl inlays.
